Biography
d    In venues across the nation, people are going crazy for Fat City Reprise. They are nationally recognized as one of today's best-unsigned acts, carrying a reputation for great song writing and unrivaled live performances. A fresh new blend of rock, pop, and funk, their music is infectious and alive. From New York City to Chicago to Los Angeles, every show gets every audience out of their seats, dancing, singing, and begging for more. They have the right image, charisma, and the national market research to prove that with the right industry push, Fat City Reprise is the next "it" band.
In 2007, Fat City Reprise performed well over 100 shows in thirteen states, all the while recording their debut full length LP: Fat City Reprise. Every time the response is the same, people can't get enough. Major FM and college radio stations in New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Indiana, Ohio, and California are already spinning Fat City Reprise. All year long Philadelphia's biggest rock station, 93.3 FM WMMR, has been heavily playing and promoting the band. Their song Cowgirl was featured by the station as the lead off track to their Local Shots II compilation and prominently featured in all of the station's advertisements over two quarters. Currently, WMMR is playing The Last Waltz, which will appear on the bandís forthcoming album Pirate Radio, in their regular rotation. It is the lead off track to their Local Shots V compilation.
All the internet statistics for the band are off the charts! In its first year, their MySpace garnered over 144,000 profile hits, 157,000 song plays, and 25,200 friends. That's 13,000 plays and 2,100 friends added each month. Internet radio stations and streaming pod casts take Fat City Reprise into computers all over the world. Their debut music video, for the song Long Gone, received over 200,000 views in its first ten days on vimeo.com. The internet buzz landed the video on wired.com and into the air waves on major FM stations in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
Fat City Reprise is also already one of the nation's top supporting acts. The quality and intensity of their live performances as well as their universally appealing sound has allowed them to perform with The Roots, Fall Out Boy, Seal, the Flaming Lips, Corrine Bailey Rae, Gym Class Heroes, Alice Smith, De La Soul, the Spin Doctors, Sister Hazel, MC Lyte, Doug E. Fresh, Paolo Nutini, and Hanson. Every time the crowd is left stunned, even in legendary venues such as the Whisky A Go-Go, Viper Room, House of Blues on Sunset, Les Deux, Key Club, Electric Factory, Philadelphia Spectrum, Borgata Casino (Atlantic City), Trocadero Theatre, and Fillmore at the TLA.
In the end it doesn't matter where or to whom Fat City Reprise performs, every time the audience reaction is the same. If you aren't dancing, you aren't listening. This is the total package, complete with the look, the sound, and the undeniable appeal.
